Bill's Corner- An Eastern Spruce Perspective

There was no letup of demand in the eastern spruce lumber market yesterday. Activity was constant keeping traders very busy sourcing product over a wide range of items for multiple clients. Prices were higher out of the reloads diverting attention to the mills for less expensive options, but the lack of supply from them thwarted many efforts to find better. The reloads continued to be the dependable source to cover the variety of needs. Alternative species also offered viable options were spruce voids crept up.
