Bill's Corner- An Eastern Spruce Perspective

It was a quieter end to the week last Friday in the eastern spruce lumber market. There was demand but there were fewer orders transacted than in previous days. One reason was the mills had sold very well during the week leaving little left for traders to gravitate to. Clients were also willing to wait and see what fresh offerings the mills would have to start the new week with. Today is the Thanksgiving holiday in Canada and Columbus day in the U.S. with lighter participation in the market expected.
