It was another busy day for the eastern spruce lumber market yesterday. Activity was brisk but it seemed more of a struggle for traders in putting orders together. The pressure to lower prices to compete weighed heavily on mindsets. Some inquiry was repetitive as clients were not content with the options presented. Maybe there were thoughts that cheaper prices would crop up. Regardless, if you stuck with a strategy of promoting what you had and believing what you know, successes and orders followed.
