Bill's Corner- An Eastern Spruce Perspective

It was another active day for many in the eastern spruce lumber market yesterday. Traders were busy revising quotes and staying ahead of the demands from their respective clients. Time was of the essence as hesitation led to lost coverage from the mills and missed opportunities on getting orders. There was heightened frustration with the lack of supply from the mills and the voids that cropped up out of the reloads. Mill shipments were into November with many having to wait to get the coverage wanted or needed.
