There was no letup of activity in the eastern spruce lumber market yesterday. Demand remained strong with a steady stream of orders being transacted. Traders continually searched for product to source inquiries from the mills with little success. The burden stayed on the reloads to supply much of the demands. The strain on them was evident with prices pushing higher and orders needing to ship quickly. Clients were anxious, frequently checking when product would deliver to them, and keeping many on edge.
