The momentum seen last Friday in the eastern spruce lumber market carried over to yesterday. Demand and sales were vibrant. The mills with material sold well. Buyers had little time to think and react to what was presented to them. Finding the items wanted or needed were a struggle. Paying higher prices to get was a given. Those second guessing themselves missed opportunities. Those short in the market found themselves on the wrong side of the ledger. Distributors with a vast mix and depth of products ruled the day.
