It was a busy start to the week in the eastern spruce lumber market yesterday. Traders actively tended to client needs that cropped up while buying specific items from the mills that seemed viable to own. Overall demand did not seem as strong though. Clients were not as anxious to buy more product. They were content in what they had and what they have coming for the current business at hand. Many paused to digest the higher prices being asked for in the market before possibly proceeding further.
