Bill's Corner- An Eastern Spruce Perspective

Lighter demand led to fewer orders being transacted in the eastern spruce lumber market yesterday. There was business, but it was not as hectic as the market has been as of late. Clients are trying to digest the higher prices in the market and weighing the need for additional inventory. The mills had a little more product they could offer in the market, but it did not warrant much attention. Buyers were not chasing the mills after product like they have been. The NAWLA Convention begins today in Phoenix, AZ with many mills and traders in attendance.
