Bill's Corner- An Eastern Spruce Perspective

It was a busy day for traders in the eastern spruce lumber market yesterday. Much time was taken to get acclimated with the market as to where prices were and what the mills had available to sell. There was not an abundance of product from any one source and most mills lacked a variety of items to sell. Supply was tight and asking prices were higher. Deliveries from the mills were after the Thanksgiving holiday. Reliance on the reloads was accentuated as the items needed over the next ten days required diligent planning.
