Bill's Corner- An Eastern Spruce Perspective

Demand was isolated and specific in the eastern spruce lumber market yesterday. Activity was lighter with fewer orders. Despite these factors, higher prices were attained on the business transacted with much of it needed before the Thanksgiving holiday. The mills were also quiet, not seeing much business but their list of items to sell remained sparse with few surprises.
