Bill's Corner- An Eastern Spruce Perspective

Activity was much quieter last Friday to end a busy week in the eastern spruce lumber market. There was little demand except for last minute fill in that could deliver before the Thanksgiving holiday. There were some buyers trolling around for any inexpensive offerings that might be around but otherwise it seemed that most had taken early leave for the weekend. Higher prices along with limited product availability also had their influences of restricting buyers’ options and making them less interested in the market.
