Bill's Corner- An Eastern Spruce Perspective

Demand was sporadic and activity was lite ahead of the Thanksgiving Holiday last week in the eastern spruce lumber market. Prices were relatively unchanged with supply remaining tight from the mills during the week. One difference was that the Canadian mills were in production all week with few orders transacted, allowing them to catch up on some of their orders. Anticipation is high that there will be more open market wood from them to trade with. Shipments from many of them are next week.
