Bill's Corner- An Eastern Spruce Perspective

Demand was steady in the eastern spruce lumber market yesterday. The volume of orders transacted was lighter than expectations and mostly generated from the reloads. The mills had items they wanted to sell, often seen asking slightly lower prices then they have been on them. This prompted traders to be more aggressive with their quotes. The mills can deliver over the next couple of weeks leading up to the Christmas and Passover holidays, which both fall in the middle of the week, creating concerns for many. Shop early to avoid the rush.
