Last year ended with lite demand in the eastern spruce lumber market. Many of the orders transacted were for last minute fill in by various clients. There was little speculation observed. Traders kept to themselves and looked to the New Year with the endless possibilities ahead of them. Some planned, others made last minute calls. Many traders return to work today, but several eastern mills resume production only this coming Monday. I wish you a prosperous New Year with successes and experiences worth remembering!
