Bill's Corner- An Eastern Spruce Perspective

There was no letup in demand and of activity in the eastern spruce lumber market yesterday. Prices rose with the many orders transacted. Tight supply remained evident from the mills as clients turned their attention to distributors to cover needs. Many eastern Canadian mills have enough orders to get them through the next couple of weeks as they anxiously wait to see what develops after the new administration takes office and the potential of additional tariffs. This post will be on hiatus, returning Thursday January 16th.
