Demand and activity continued to strengthen in the eastern spruce lumber market yesterday. Progression has been seen each day this week after a thirty-day delay was given to tariffs on Canadian lumber exports last weekend. Client confidence has been building as prices settled back from the artificial highs brought on by the threat of tariffs. The realities of tight supply from the mills and steady business have been instrumental in drawing clients back to the market. Keeping lean inventories has also made for frequent replenishment.
