Bill's Corner- An Eastern Spruce Perspective

Demand and activity were slow to start in the eastern spruce lumber market yesterday but gained momentum as the day progressed. Traders did their due diligence as to what the mills had to offer but found much less available from them than what might be expected to start the week. The mills had pockets of certain items, but they lacked a variety of them. They focused on selling the things that were on the ground that could ship within the next couple of weeks. Logistics became an integral part of what could be accomplished.
