There was steady activity on Friday to end last week in the eastern spruce lumber market. Increased interest of what was available from the mills was sparked after there was news of a delay until early April on the implementation of tariffs on Canadian lumber exports. The news had yet to be confirmed but many were led to believe it would be. There was some aggressive selling noted but little to no additional lumber was seen put on the market. Prices were higher for the week with 2x4 items leading the charge.
