With a successful and well attended Montreal Wood Convention behind them, traders and mills came back to the eastern spruce lumber market last Friday. It was back to reality and getting re acclimated to the market and where prices were. They found that some products struggled to find a level to trade at and others were resilient to change and harder to find. The uncertainty that prevailed in the market when tariffs were the concern turned to confusion on what to do and think without them being a fear.
