Bill's Corner- An Eastern Spruce Perspective

Sales and activity picked up yesterday in the eastern spruce lumber market yesterday as the mills began finding trading levels on various items. Clients were more willing to commit on buying needed or soon to be needed items. Short covering was also observed. Firm offers were the rule of the day. Some items saw heavy discounts whereas others did not have to bend too much to find orders. The mills focused on product that was on the ground, not overly concerned on what was not produced.
