Bill's Corner- An Eastern Spruce Perspective

Steady demand perked up activity in the eastern spruce lumber market yesterday. Orders though, were harder to put together. Fewer mill options made it difficult to source inquiries. Buyers did not have the basket of supply to choose from that has been previously available. Also, prices were not as vulnerable on many of the items as they have been. The mills took counters but not to the extent that buyers had hoped and pushed for. It looked and seemed that the market was building a base to trade from.
