Bill's Corner- An Eastern Spruce Perspective

It was a busier day for some traders in the eastern spruce lumber market yesterday. It was also a quieter day for others, mills included. Distributors were at the forefront at supplying many of the orders generated throughout the day with the variety of products they had. They were also more competitively priced than the mills on many occasions. The mills struggled to find new business with the limited products they had to offer. There was also growing concern with the increases in AD and CVD duties coming later in July.
