Bill's Corner- An Eastern Spruce Perspective

Steady demand kept traders busy in the eastern spruce lumber market yesterday. A lack of supply from the mills though limited transactions on the day. There were fewer options for buyers to source inquiries from. Also, higher asking prices helped quell buying interest and generating more orders. The mills are limited on what they can ship next week. Truck deliveries from them will need to work around holidays in both Canada and the U.S. in the first week of July, pushing deliveries from most into the second week of the month.
