Bill's Corner- An Eastern Spruce Perspective

Demand and activity slowed in the eastern spruce lumber market yesterday. There was not as much excitement as was seen on the day prior. Orders centered around quick fill in with distributors getting the lion share of the business transacted. Prices slowed their downward progression but remained vulnerable. Clients were busy but found adequate supply to fulfill their needs. The eastern Canadian mills were competitive on some items but were largely out of sync on many others.
