Bill's Corner- An Eastern Spruce Perspective

Activity continued to be steady in the lumber market yesterday. Demand was consistent, with new orders flowing to the mills and through distribution. The mills had pockets of accumulations, which were sold at a discount earlier in the week, but once done could not be duplicated. Prices adjusted lower on the higher grades but not to the levels many might have anticipated or were traded at previously. Mill supply remained limited on the majority of items produced, keeping prices less vulnerable on them.
