Although activity and sales improved in the lumber market yesterday, there was also trepidation that pervaded buyer’s mindsets. The mills did not sell as well as they wanted to. The urgency to buy was lacking. Many concerns voiced adequate inventories and although some key items remained tight in supply, buyers seemed more willing to be patient for them to reappear. Prices were slightly lower with less concern that they would rebound anytime quickly. The lack of trucks are a major concern and a problem for eastern mills, lending support to current prices.

@william_giguere Have you seen supply of these key items increasing in this relatively tight environment?
