Bill's Corner- An Eastern Spruce Perspective

Activity was quiet but there were some inquiries and needs to be addressed in the lumber market yesterday. Lite staffing kept those at the helm busy for most of the day. Some high-priced offerings were put out by a couple of mills but generally many of the eastern mills were absent. To say where prices were on any item was difficult to gauge because there was so little in the market to compare them by. There was time for reviewing and preparation. There was also time for contemplating and speculating which direction this market was heading.
