Bill's Corner- An Eastern Spruce Perspective

There was no letup of activity in the lumber market yesterday. Sales were good on what the eastern mills had to offer, with higher prices being achieved. Many retailers are experiencing one of the busiest months of the year. A continuing outflow of material through their yards is chewing through inventories, faster than anticipated. This has kept pressure on replenishment ongoing.
