Bill's Corner- An Eastern Spruce Perspective

There was solid business transacted in the lumber market yesterday. The eastern mills participated but more orders were derived from distribution, as quick fill in was imperative. Retailers remained very busy, shipping out material and chasing down what was on order. Shipping delays from various ports and selective regions continue to play havoc with many. The eastern mills had additional items that came to market, some resonating with buyers but many did not. Price differences were common among the mills, often requiring homework be done.
