There seemed to be more buzz, more noise in the eastern spruce lumber market yesterday. Demand was evident and vibrant most of the day. The eastern mills were busy actively selling, taking small counters, and getting orders. Clients were encouraged to buy. Traders worked tirelessly showing them opportunities and relative deals. Many felt it was the right thing to do, that timing was good. Although the number of orders transacted was off on the day, there was plenty of excitement, to point to, to go around.
