Who wants to bet that a majority of people believe their business is better than the competition?

There is a difference in being the best at what you do and trying to do the best you are able to do given the circumstances. I believe we can all do a little better. Even the best only stay there a short while and lots of folks are trying to take your place. Humility is a better quality than pride. I would be surprised if any Pakira members think they are “the best”.

Well said, ain’t that the truth @Matt_Layman.

The best focus is on what is in our control. The hard reality is that nobody and no business is perfect. This is also our greatest opportunity, no matter where we stand in the competitive marketplace, there is always room for improvement.

On the flip side, we can’t beat ourselves up for our imperfections. Just continually try to do, as you said, “our best” everyday. Striving to be 1% better than we were yesterday is a noble aim.

I also like how you said “given the circumstances”, as this hits on Pakira’s philosophy. Pakira is named after the Bonsai tree. In Bonsai, a tree could grow to 100 ft tall, but “given the circumstances”, it may never grow over 1ft tall. The name Pakira is a reminder to build environments that empower the growth of our customers.
