In January 2023, the imports of wood chips to European Union decreased 37% year-on-year to 303.3 thousand tonnes. According to Lesprom Analytics, the average price for wood chips imported to European Union grew 5% compared to the previous month and amounted to $135 per ton. This is 66% more than a year ago when it was $81.
