In December 2022, the imports of wood chips to European Union fell 65% year-on-year to 180.9 thousand tonnes. According to Lesprom Analytics, the average price for wood chips imported to European Union contracted 6% compared to the previous month and amounted to $128 per ton. This is 62% more than a year ago when it was $79.
