In November 2022, the average price for wood chips imported to Japan expanded 5% compared to the previous month at $221 per tonne, according to Lesprom Analytics. This is 23% more than a year ago when it was $179. The imports of wood chips from Japan decreased 8% year-on-year to 914 thousand tonnes in November.
