In September 2022, the import price for softwood lumber in Japan downed 3% compared to the previous month at $579 per m3, according to Lesprom Analytics.This is 6% less than a year ago when it was $617.
The imports of softwood lumber in Japan contracted 18% year-on-year to 342.0 thousand m3 in September.
