Roseburg is pleased to announce that JT Taylor has returned to the company as Plywood Sales Manager, effective Monday, August 26. Taylor will apply his deep experience in the wood products industry to executing strategy for commodity plywood sales, cultivating customer relationships, and leading the Plywood Inside Sales team.
“We are thrilled to have JT back on the team at Roseburg helping drive our softwood plywood sales strategy,” said Chad Carlson, Director of Plywood and Composite Sales. “His acumen, insights, and experience will be a significant asset to the company, as will his impressive institutional knowledge and understanding of the market landscape as he shifts his focus from lumber to plywood sales.”
Taylor previously worked for Roseburg for 14 years, starting out in stud sales and moving into product management and sales manager roles. He went to work for Herbert Lumber in 2018, where he served as Sales and Operations Director. Earlier in his career, he spent 11 years with DR Johnson. He is currently President of the Umpqua Valley Lumber Association in Oregon.
Taylor will report to Chad Carlson, Roseburg’s Director of Plywood and Composite Sales.
