Lumber Prices are lower on the futures market due to the fact that the May contract started at a huge discount to cash lumber when the March contract expired. Cash lumber is currently going through a “what am I worth phase?” with wild price differences depending on where you need it. I still would be afraid to outright short lumber futures at these levels as the ebbs and flows can leave you breathless. Have an Awesome Sunday Funday.
