That week’s price was flat from one month ago when it was $490.
Compared to the same week last year, when it was US$430 mfbm, that week’s price was up +$60, or +14%. Compared to two years ago when it was $383, that week’s price was up +$107 or +28%.

In the week ending May 8, 2026, the price of Southern Yellow Pine East Side 2×4 #2&Btr KD (RL) was US$485 mfbm. This was down -$20, or -4%, from the previous week when it was $505.
That week’s price was down -$76, or -14%, from one month ago when it was $561.
Compared to the same week last year, when it was $535, that week’s price was down -$50, or -9%. Compared to two years ago when it was $330, that week’s price was up +$155, or +47%.
