Russian and Central European lumber imports to the US will decline! Will this impact the current market?

Andrew, I just had a meeting here in Romania at a sawmill that normally never produces and ships to Central Europe. The MENA region is their main market. There is a real panic in European countries such as the Netherlands that relied on Russian and Belarusian spruce that was typically shipped rough KD to the Baltic States and either run to European structural lumber grades or laminated into Glulam beams. They are getting calls from all over Europe for lumber supply now. The reshuffling of the global lumber supply chain is truly happening right now. And demand for South American pine for block board and pallet production in Europe has grown exponentially.
