Does the smell of sawdust and mud take you to a better place? Everyone tells me it stinks, but I wish I could make a candle out of it.

@Burford_Bolander i love the smell of sawdust! And making a candle out of it is an interesting business idea, to be given out at LBM conferences as souvenirs 
Not sure about mud though. If it’s just earth in the forest there’s nothing like it. Potting/lawn soil which is full of phosphates less so. Mud on city streets I associate w/ dirt and is undesirable.

I said mud, but it’s usually soil with different types of minerals deposited over time.
I have never thought of all the things that go into it?

Couldn’t agree with you more. I like it so much that I burn sawdust pellets. Have you ever tried something like this below?
They smells amazing! That said… there is still nothing like the smell of freshly cut wood.
