BULLS – NOWHERE TO BE FOUND! With ugly CPI numbers mid-week, combined with weakness in the financial sector, needless to say, the lumber market didn’t have a stellar week. Prospects of a rail strike provided a little flex early in the week but crumbled as a tentative agreement was reached late in the week. A few buyers bulked up on inventories hedging the potential strike second-guessed that decision as Thursday arrived, as the walk-out looks to be averted. With the supply-chain concerns now behind us, where do we go from here? Valid question!
