WE NEED A LITTLE GOOD NEWS FOR ONCE. With school bells ringing in the distance, and the approach of autumn just around the corner, we could use a bit of positive news in the housing sector. Unfortunately, this week was not the case, as the Mortgage Bankers Association’s release of mortgage applications showed red numbers across the board. This didn’t help perk life into the currently weak lumber market, as pricing remained on the decline. So, with the kiddos back at it now that September is in full swing, let’s check out what transpired this past week in the place I like to call: 'The Wonderful World of Wood”. Enjoy…
