Euro 5.4 million of roundwood was purchased from Slovenian private owners in October 2022, which was about 7% less than a month before. The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs decreased by about 17%, while the values of other categories were higher: of pulpwood by almost 31%, of wood fuel by about 133% and of other industrial roundwood by about 40% , according to the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia.
Compared to October 2021, the value of roundwood purchased from private owners decreased by almost 11% (mainly due to the lower quantity of purchased wood). The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs decreased by about 22%, while the values of other categories were higher than a year ago.
