Ukraine increases 22% exports of lumber to European Union in October

In October 2022, Ukraine’s exports of lumber to the European Union grew 22% year-on-year to 108 thousand m3, according to Lesprom Analytics. Average price of lumber decreased 11% at $318 per m3 compared to September, it was 20% lower than a year ago.

Since August, Ukraine has replaced Russia as the main lumber supplier to the EU. Country’s share was 31% of EU total lumber imports in October.
