Learning from experience not “hope and pray”(although I’m not saying praying won’t work??) The lumber market has caught those needing lumber in the proverbial “between a rock and a hard place”. Is it the start of another rally like the first 5 months of 2021 or once the rail issues subside will there be wood everywhere. If you were lucky enough to miss the washout area your prompt wood is worth more today than down the road in my opinion. Lumber Futures have spooked a lot of traders and buyers looking to cover jobs and future business by continuing its trek towards $1000/mbf .
