@Andrew_Gibson Yes, however it will be interesting to see the breakup of the wood products which India is producing and what portion of that is for local consumption vs export.
That is a great question @Abdul_Wahab! Looking into it we see in the link below that India imports the vast majority of their wood… which makes me a bit suspicious…

India is the largest buyer of New Zealand radiata pine logs. Then they cut most of those logs into lumber.
That explains India’s massive lumber production numbers. Further, this explains why I hear from many Indian buyers interested in purchasing SYP logs
