Bill’s Corner- An Eastern Spruce Perspective

The Lumber market ended last week on a high note with strong sales on a variety of many items, especially involving November shipments and deliveries. Manufacturers were the major players as demand for their wares pushed their order files well into the fall months. It was important for them to lock in material for as far out as possible knowing they have the commitments. A very strong uptick and close in the futures market also contributed to the increased activity and the urgency to find more lumber!
These posts will be on sabbatical for the balance of this week, returning next Monday October 18th. #trading #wholesale #lumber #spf #constructionmaterials #buildingmaterials #sherwoodlumber

@Nadia If you are well-positioned on inventory, then I think it’s a great time to relax like this bull here: feet up and a martini in hand (THE BULLS ARE BACK IN THE BUILDING). The market is going up and up with no sign of reversal in sight. The consensus is that prices will be rising, all be it not to previous highs, but there is still plenty of room left for this market to run!
